A LOT of shit has gone down in the past year or so, and I really am trying to think over it all.
1. I came out as bisexual (though I still prefer girls over guys) to my mom and (step)dad and most of my friends. That was slightly terrifying. At least, telling my mom and dad. I've known about it since last July or so when I really kinda came to terms with the fact that I was into girls. I first told my friends (easiest to tell since they're mostly online) and thank god for having mostly liberal friends because they were/are amazing.
2. I have officially rejected religion. At least, organized religion. I'm all for believing in a high power, but after 16 years of having it shoved down my throat with no toothbrush to make myself barf it back up, I'm ready to just give up on it altogether.
3. Lilith/Ayankha/PG: You are amazing. Seriously. First, you got me out of the pathetic mockery of a relationship that I put too much into emotionally and I thank you for that so much. Second, you introduced to me to Torchwood, and subsequently, slash fanfiction. You just rock. Thank you. :)
4. Whoever the hell came up with Panic slash and S!ATD was a genius, really. Without them, I'd never have met Jasmine and Keye and Soph. :)
5. To those mentioned above: Jazz, Keye, and Soph: You guys are awesome. Jasmine for putting up with my crap stories at 10 at night when I have had too many Mountain Dews; Keye for understanding and sympathizing with my bandom schizophrenia; & Soph for being my brain-twin and also writing a cutesy Gabilliam fic that reduces me to tears all the damn time. (Speaking of Rileyfic, post the next chapter, damn it!)
6. To my friends on GateWorld, I seriously love you. You all got me out of my really bad depression. You guys were there for me when my grandmother died. You all helped me when I admitted to cutting and needed help. You all helped me get the courage to tell my mom, too. You have been my moral support for this past year and I adore you for that.
And finally, to the rest of you in my life (Mel, Alayna): Thank you. Just all of you. You guys have helped me through so much over the past year and I have no idea what I did without you for so long.
To those listed in this post, you guys are all just amazing and as high-school-yearbookish as it may be, don't change. Really. :)
