First, I am now the proud owner of a Cloud/Sephiroth doujin. SWEET. :D (Title page? Cloud's in a dress, spiked collar, and a pair of handcuffs with Sephiroth's arms wrapped around his body. I had a fangirl moment or five.) The one problem?

It's in Japanese. *headdesk* Oh, well... The art's fantastic. (And there's a brief moment of Vincent/Cid which made me AWWWWW, cause Vincent's being emo again [at least, from what I gather] and Cid stops him from doing something stupid. AWWWWWW.)

Second. I went to Kennywood. Best amusement park ever. Disneyworld can bite my shiny, metal ass. Kennywood fuckin' owns, 'kay?

Third, i've lost all faith in humanity.

My mom, two brothers, our friend Larry, and I all went to Kennywood yesterday, and while waiting for me and Larry to get off of Phantom's Revenge (the big coaster he can't go on), Patrick (cutest little 5 year old EVER) was holding the exit gate for people. He had this big happy smile on and do you know how many people acknowledged that he was there and holding the door?

NONE.

Same thing at the Thunderbolt, too... Places like that just make me sad because I see how rude and obnoxious and callous so many people are when it comes to someone they don't know and my heart just breaks.

And also, there's a ride called the Turtle and it's a calm little ride but this one little girl got sick on it, and her mom made them stop the ride (sounds nice, right?), pushed the little girl out and onto the platform, and then continued to ride while the little girl is bawling her eyes out because she's sick and wants her mom.

I wanted to slap her.

I was off waiting for Mom and co to get off (i had gone to put the towels back at the table on the other end of the park), and she was past the gate so I couldn't get to her. But I would have helped her. It just makes me want to cry.

And THEN there are the girls who go just to impress guys. Like the two girls I saw yesterday who wore 3-inch platform heels, jeans so tight that PAINT is looser, bikini tops that make NC-17 look kid-friendly, and hair that has so much hairspray that the Phantom's Revenge or Raging Rapids couldn't shake it out.

Or there's the woman who had this ten-year-old with her and it got down to where only one of them could go and she shoved the kid off to the side so SHE could get on.

And as the day wore on, it got worse and worse, too. Patrick was about 1 1/2 inches too short for bumper cars and we (very kindly) asked the attendant if he could still go on if he sat with mom. I felt so bad about it. :( People, y'know?

Pictures later. I'm off to hit something.
